certain japanese characters will not show in the edit pane

I have no idea why, but no matter what encodings I choose or how I import text (direct input or txt file) I cannot get some japanese characters to show up in either the edit pane or in the preview screen (creater pro or the older powerkaraoke plus). For instance, the japanese character "wa" or "わ" will not display, even though the majority of other characters do show up. Gah! Any help would be appreciated.

Please try changing the font -- it is possible that the standard font used does not display this character.

Sorry to not have experimented enough before posting. You were absolutely right... I just needed to try out a few more fonts.

Question hey, I had the same problem as yours. I can't display chinese words. Did you find out which font you use? Can you please tell me, so I can try and see if it works for chinese words as well? Thank you.
