i have a cd drive of HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4240N

is this a cd drive that would work for copying cdg's? If not is there a site to download a cdg compatible drive or is this something i would have to purchase and have installed in my computer?

i can get songs from Karaoke info and download them and they will play on my karaoke player though, but it don't work when i take a cdg from the store and try to copy it.

please help

Please download the trial version of Power CD+G Burner and see if it works with your drive. But HL-DT-ST are known to cause problems.

rj tech 4200 is the brand of my karaokee machine, but the discs that i copy do not play on the kb player that is installed on the computer, i have 2 other karaokee players and it don't play on them either. no sound or lyrics.

like i said i can download one from that karaokee info site and put them on a cd-r and they play great sound and lyrics.

i want to copy some karaokee discs that i have purchased at the store though, please help Sad

KB player does not play CD+G discs. You need to use Power CD+G Player Pro to play CD+G discs directly.

Are you using the same drive for reading and burning?

Yes, I am using the same drive to copy as to burn. Any other suggestions? I would like to get these copied.

Please try lowering reading speed (do this on the Rip tab). If this fails please send us a log file created by Power CD+G Burner. It is cdgblog.txt file located in 'C:\Program Files\Doblon\Power CD+G Burner' directory. This will allow us to find what the problem might be.

You are not using the latest version of Power CD+G Burner. Please download version 1.3.18 and try reverting settings to default (use Default button in Settings dialog box). If this fails please resend the log file, but use email, and do not post it here in the forum.
