I am totally confused. My first time with all this. I have a HandyStar Mic from Korea. I have downloaded some zip karaoke songs. I unzipped them and see two files. One mp3 music and one cdg file extensions. My HandyStar has a 64mb mini SD card that i can move the files from my computer to the card. How does the two files merge so that the song comes up with the words on the tv screen?
The Mic lets me look to the SD card but it plays the song but I do not see any words.
I just downloaded the trial version of the PowerKaraoke sw.
I had to pull in the zipped songs and the output was CDG+MP3.
I burned that onto the CD.
Well then I took the download from the CD and dumped it onto the SD Card and put the card in the mic. But no luck.
I am not sure if this had anything with me having to purchase this sw but all that came out on the mic was music but no words.

thanks.

Your device is not compatible with any standard format I am afraid. Is surely cannot play CD+G karaoke.

I agree.

You will have to get a hold of HandyStar for compatible software and correct format.
