|
|
Using the CD+G Burner and The Siglos PLayer / Recorder I am having many disappointments. I have reproduced this same problem on 3 Computers. 2 Laptops and a Desktop.
Once the "RIP" is completed I attempt to play the song in the Siglos player and it skips or loops. It sounds like a bad disc but it is a .bin. I attempt to play the DISC directly thru the computer with the Siglos player and it consistantly pauses at about every 10 - 20 seconds. I have tried it with several CD's, I have fine tuned every setting I can find, adjusted the read/rip times etc. and nothing stops this from happening.
Suggestions? |

Are you able to play CD+G discs directly or are you experiencing the same problem? What operating system are you using? _________________ Piotr

When I play CD+G disc directly thru the system I get a pause about every 10-20 seconds. I am using Windows XP with all the latest SP's and Updates.
If I don't get a pause I get bad skips with broken and out of sync graphics. This has happened on both my LapTop as well as my desktop.
As for the CD+G's being the problem, they work just fine in the Karaoke Machine. I have even chosen random CD's just in case maybe it was the CD itself and it has happened on 20 or more of them out of my collestion. |

Yes, I have reinstalled it on 2 computers with same results. I have stated this a couple times already. I am not trying to be impatient but I paid $80.00 for a product that is not working. Do you have any other suggestions or is there a way to get a refund on this product? |

I just a total reinstall. Cleaned out both programs completely. Reinstalled them and tried ripping the CD's in all 3 ways. Now in addition to the skipping which still exists, the words and the music are totally NOT in sync.
Not happy.
On a GOOD note it does COPY to CD just fine. So I am able to make copies of my CD+G's but that is not what i wanted the software to do. I wanted it for the ability to play them from the computer. I run my whole DJ show from my laptop. Was really hoping I could get it to do Karaoke as well. |

Well it's been 4 days since my last post and there has been no resolution. Is that it? Am I just stuck with all this non working software or is there an attempt going to happen to make the customer happy?
I have totally reinstalled windows on this desktop hoping maybe it was my end and now the skipping has stopped (mostly) but the lyrics are more then a MINUTE out of Sync.
Please contact me privately about this matter as I no longer wish to continue this topic publicly. |

Can you turn of AIN (auto insert) for your drive and run another test?
Perhaps there is another media player on your systems starting up when playing a disk.

I looked into that first thing. Being a DJ who uses his computer for 99% of what I do, Auto Start anyhting is turned off. Can't have things starting on their own in the middle of a song
Good Idea though. |

| I have the same problem. Some times 4 or 5 songs in a row will play just fine, then the next 20 will skip, jump back, or get totally lost. |
