I've just upgraded to the latest version of PVK and now I can't export AVI. No matter what codec I use, even exporting with no compression, the program sits and creates the file and when the status bar gets to 100%, it starts back at the beginning at 0% and works it's way through to 100% before continuing like this in an endless loop. If I hit cancel after a few cycles of this, the filesize is quite large. Normally when I export using the Cinepak codec I can expect a file to be between 200-300k, but I'm now finding that the fies are anything up to 4GB! When I then preview them in media player, the files are showing a running length of several minutes longer than they should be. The audio runs fine i.e it starts and ends where it should, with graphics in sync and then the music ends, but the graphics just start back at the beginning again and proceed to run through to the end again...and again....and again.......
Any ideas on this one? It's really hindering my progress. Also, is it possible to download previous versions of the software. Prior to upgrading I was running 1.2.12 which had a few problems but at least would let me render. Time is precious and I really need some working software!

It occurs that 1.2.17 had a bug that caused video creation process to loop with soundtracks longer than 2.5 minutes. I am very sorry about this -- the fix (1.2.1Cool will be available shortly.

Thanks for the fix to 1.2.17 to allow export of AVI's - Rendering is working great now, however....1.2.18 has another bug. After rendering, the software locks up and crashes, causing a microsoft error report popup to appear every single time. A little bit frustrating when you need to render multiple files and have to keep restarting the software between renders.

Some more coding resulted in version 1.2.19 -- we have tested background videos and were unable to find any problems on our machines. Please give it a try.
