Sad I purchased the Karaoke CDG Creator Pro and I have not been able to create a CDG file. I can get through the editing process and come up with a completed song in BIN, but when I get to saving it in CDG it says it cannot open the soundtrack file. And yet I can run preview it in the edit mode. What am I missing? Confused

What software are you using to create CD+G disc?

BIN file is all you need to burn to CD+G -- make sure you select BIN output format, you may be creating CDG file. CDG file needs MP3 file with exactly the same name that contains the soundtrack.

I am using Karaoke CD+G Creator Pro to create the disc.
I start by loading a BIN soundtrack and then add lyrics, synchronize and add styles. When I save my work it saves it as PK2. When I try to save it to burn to a disk it says it cannot open soundtrack file. What am I missing?

You need to create BIN file if you want to burn it to a CD+G discs. Use 'Create CD+G File' from 'Create' menu.

Karaoke CD+G Creator does not burns CD+G discs -- are you using Power CD+G Burner?

I have Power CD&G Burner, Karaoke CD&G Creator Pro, and Siglos player. This is how I have proceeded to get to where I am stuck at.
I first use Power Burner to rip the soundtrack from my CD into a BIN file. I load that soundtrack into Karaoke CD&G Creator Pro and proceed to add lyrics, and synchronize it and then add styles. At this point everything is looking good, it plays through on Karaoke CD&G Creator Pro just fine in the editing window. I save the completed project and it saves as a PK2 file. Now in my directory I have two files with the same name, the original soundtrak file in BIN format which is 33062 KB and a Karaoke CD&G Creator Document which is 368 KB. I cannot preview it with Siglos as a complete soundtrack with graphics. I can play it, but the words don't appear. Now I am trying to save it so that I can preview it in Siglos and then burn the resulting file to a CD using Power Burner. I go into the Create menu, choose Create CD&G File and the dialog box comes up. It shows under FILES the soundtrack file in BIN format, the output file as the same name as the soundtrack file in BIN format, and the Output type is "BIN (to record on a CD)". Everything else in the Dialog box I leave it as it defaults to. When I press OK, the "Creating File..." dialog box appears and then I get an error dialog box which says "Cannot open the output file. If the file is open in Power CD&G Player you need to close it and try again". Now as far as I know I don't have the file open in Power CD&G player. But that is where I am stuck at. I have tried renaming the output file in BIN format but the only diffence in the results is the error dialog box which says "Cannot open the soundtrack file". This is where I am stuck at. Is there something that I am not doing or should not be doing?

Hmmmm... are you trying to change the lyrics in an origional file?

If so, rip only the audio from the file as .wav audio, then do your sync and create. Origional graphics can only be edited with great difficulty and a mulititude of programs. Recreation is the only viable option.

I am sorry for late answer -- please try ripping to CDG+WAV format and use WAV file as soundtrack instead of BIN. BIN soundtracks are undocumented feature of Karaoke CD+G Creator and are not recommended.
