Dear Pjotr,
I'm the same alias like orientalsieg.
For some unknown reasons I cannot log in as orientalsieg.
Therefore I created a new account with the alias sigisaudi.

One question:
We agreed some weeks ago that there are compatibility problems Power Video Karaoke v. 1.2.28 versa Windows Vista.
You announced an updated version of Power Video Karaoke for the beginning of September 2007.
Unfortunately is my version 1.2.28 still up to date if I check with the Power Karaoke homepage.
As the problem persists, when will the issue be solved?

The new product for karaoke videos is being developed. It will be released before the end of this year.

Dear Adam,
I bought about in June Power Video Karaoke for 89 US$ for private use. I installed it on my Wndows XP laptop and it worked.
In July I bought a new laptop working under Windows Vista. At my old laptop I made Format C:, installed Windows XP new from the recovery disk and gave this new formatted laptop to my son. It is no longer available for me.
But I realized that Power Video Karaoke does not work under Windows Vista. The problems are as follows:

1. If I load a MP3 file into Power Video Karaoke then Vista terminates the program irregularely.
It is possible to work with .wav files but it is boring to do every time the conversion MP3 to WAV and because of the fault No 2 it is useless to do so!

2. If I perform the final run of Power Video Karaoke on Vista to merge the synchronized song with a background video, Power Video Karaoke annonces a duration of this process of more than 200 minutes instead of 10 to 15 minutes as under Windows XP. If I wait this time I realize that the background of the screen is blue, no video is merged with the synchronized song. This is valid for all allowed different video types.

Such a behavior make the program useless.
Do I have wasted my money?
There was and is no hint on the product page of Power Karaoke that Power Video Karaoke is not compatible with Windows Vista!
There is only mentioned something like

" Vista compatibility
Our software runs on Microsoft Vista"

which is simply not true!

Vista did not appear suddenly.
Microsoft announced this new OS already long time ago.
Why is Power Video Karaoke not prepared for Vista like other application software of other providers?
Why does Doblon expect their customers to wait another quarter of a year to get a Vista compatible version?
I'm really fed up with this mess!
I want to produce my own Karaoke but I can't!

I am sorry for the problems -- Power Video Karaoke does work on Vista, but it appears it may have issues on some systems for the reason that is currently unknown for us. Please email us and I will try to send you a special build that might indicate what exactly is the problem.

Go to the Program exe file and right click on the exe icon then select compatability tab and select compatability with Xp, this helped me
