First the easy one. The installation creates a shortcut pointing to the wrong application. It does point to the Karaoke DVD Burner subdirectory, but references PowerCDGtoVideoConverter.exe. It should be KaraokeDVDBurner.exe, right?

The other problem, the Burn Button is greyed out. Both my DVD drives are recognized and that media is present. The drives are Plextor PX-716A and Lite-On DVDRW LH-20A1H.

How do I resolve this problem? Thanks.

I am sorry for the problems.

What kind of media are you using? DVD or DVD-R? Please start Karaoke DVD Burner and press Ctrl+SHIFT+L . The folder that will open should contain kardvdlog.txt file -- it is a log file for the program. Please email it to us.

And thanks for the heads up regarding the shortcut from the Start menu -- the shortcut on the desktop points to the proper program. We will fix it in a minute.

I'm glad you asked about the type of media, it hadn't occured to me that might make a difference. The only blank media I currently have on hand is DVD+R so that's what I tried.

False alarm. I'm embarrassed to report that it was operator error... my blank media wasn't.

Everything works perfectly. I am very pleased with the software. The ability to organize songs by folders and the resulting menu structure on the DVD is outstanding. Thanks for a great product.
