The control works fine on the development machine (XP Pro 2gb RAM) but not on the test deploy machine (XP Pro 256mb RAM). We have tried everything we could think of, repackaged, reinstalled, got newer files, tried to manually register the DLLs, tested the contol in a sparce app... the control errors with the cryptic message "The file cannot be opened."

We have tried numerous CDG files (making certain that they loaded correctly on the development machine).

Any ideas?

The reported version is 1.0.12.0 ... date/time stamp: 11:38 AM 9/12/2007.
Do you have something more recent?

No, the version you are using is the latest.

Please email us with the code you use -- maybe there is something we will spot.

Sorry about that. There was an earlier version of the control on the test machine. For some reason, subsequent installations of the new version weren't replacing it. It was a packaging problem, not a bug.
