Please try to play these files with evaluation version of Power CD+G Player Pro and make sure that they work OK. Also you may try to upgrade your DirectX. _________________ Piotr

the cdg and the mp3 works fine with Power CD+G Player Pro. I get sound and image.
I alreadt updated the directx, and installed the most recent divx codecs.
But i still have the same problem.
The same happens if i try converting to mpg. |

Have you tried to play MP3+G file in Power CD+G Player Pro? Do you get sound there? _________________ Piotr

I also have this problem when using power cdg2avi
I'm using xvid codec with lame MP3 audio, however I"ve tried other audio/video codec combinations.
I only get sound if I leave the MP3 file in the same directory as the avi, once I move the MP3 file, the AVI has no sound. It's like the two are not muxed together into the AVI file. Also explains why the AVI file is pretty small in size, about the size of the CDG file |

MP3 has to be in the same directory -- if you move it Power CD+G to AVI Converter does not know where the audio file is. CDG files do not contain audio. _________________ Piotr

| Hi, thanks for the reply. I realize that CDG files do not have sound and the mp3 is required, however I thought after I convert the file into an AVI, it also muxes the mp3 file into the AVI. So afterwards only the AVI file is required to play. |

This is correct -- once converted you do not need MP3 anymore. But it has to be in the same directory as CDG file when converting. _________________ Piotr
