Hi,
In Karaoke CD+G Creator Pro, is there a way to keep the screen blank during longer instrumental sections. I'd like the next series of vocal scripting after longer instrumental sections to only appear on the screen about 2-3 seconds before the new vocal starts. I tried inserting the blank screen event but it doesn't seem to work properly.

You may create an empty page with a single word made from non-breaking space character ('_' by default). Then you would have to synchronize it for the duration of the silence (use SPACE key to start and CTRL to end) and insert Clear Screen event before and after it.

Hi Piotr,
You replied...You may create an empty page with a single word made from non-breaking space character ('_' by default).
Then you would have to synchronize it for the
duration of the silence
(use SPACE key to start and CTRL to end)
and insert Clear Screen event before and after it.

Can you simplify...Do I type a single underline in the main lyric page I'm syncing. After the fact - I already have the entire song perfectly synced...
If I'm using 4 lines...do I type 4 lines with a single underline character in each line... Can you dumb it down and tell me EXACTLY what to do...

You have to include screen control into your lyrics
BEFORE starting syncing.

To have a blank screen, you will need:

[clear screen]_
_
_
_[clear screen]

Don't worry too much about timing,
you just drag the bottom hard space end marker down
in the timing display to the left with the mouse.

If you want to control the delay from the previous screen
last line wipes out, to the blank screen starts
you change the last lyrics line from

last lyrics line

to

_ last lyrics line _

Now edit the last hard space end to suit your needs.
The hard space in the beginning of the line will only
be needed if you center the lyrics lines.
