|

Hi, I have used my Siglos Pro system a number of years, I have the current version but transferred my data to another laptop as old one went bang.
Songs will not launch from siglos every time, probably only 10% but if I search for the songs from the start menu and click the song file they launch in Siglos.
What am I doing wrong?
Have validated songs but even songs that say ,file unavailable, on the database will open from the start menu but not in the siglos add singer programe.
Regards
Ian

If the 'file unavailable' comes up when validating songs, it means the files have changed their location. In such case you need to add them to the database again, or specify the new location of the files. When adding songs located on the external drive, please make sure the drive letter does not change after reconnecting the drive. _________________ Adam

Hi Adam, thanks for that but I had loaded ALL of my files diectly to my Laptop before setting up the replaced siglos professional so I do not use an external HD and all songs are in one file on the laptop HD, so cant understatnd how some will play and others will not?
I have, as you suggested, re loaded the songs to siglos database from my laptop but still, not all, will not launch through the programme but will launch if I double click the song in it's file location?
I have had this trouble on 2 other lap tops where I have tried to overcome this problem.
Ian

| Can you please check if you experience the same delay for unpacked MP3+G files? |

No, it seems to happen with any files? I have checked these files and they are all on my hard drive for the computer running the software. I have also loaded the files again and they still have difficulty loading from the programme.
Sometimes they will b ut 9 out of 10 times they wont. But if I search for the songs out of the siglos programme they open siglos and play? |

Please try to remove the songs you are having problems with from the Siglos database, and then add them again. Let us know if it changes anything. _________________ Adam

|

I would like to know how to remove one song or a song that will not play from the data base with out clearing all the songs out of it and reloading. I have over 400,000 songs and as I find one that is bad I would like to take it out of the data base.
Thank You |

You may use Remove button in the Song Database dialog box to remove the given song. There is no automatic method to test all the songs in the database. _________________ Adam
