|
|
I have been burning CDs that will play on cdg players using newer versions of Nero. Works great but when I import a midi and generate a binary or wave plus cdg and convert to binary I get no lyrics on cdg players.
If I use commercial cdg file with your with your wave and convert to binary works ok. It appears that your cdg file is different than commercial
and imcompatable using Nero. Any ideas? |

Do the BIN files you are able to burn with Nero play correctly in Power CD+G Player?
BIN files from PowerKaraoke are 100% compatible with all CD+G players, but we recommend burning them to CD using Goldenhawk's CDRWin software (the demo version that will allow to burn CD+Gs at 1x speed is available http://www.goldenhawk.com).
There is one thing that comes to mind -- it is possible that Nero burn BIN files that have been ripped with Nero (it would mean that Nero does not perform subchannel interleaving). But I have to admit I have not used Nero to burn CD+Gs. I will taka a closer look.
You might also ask this question at http://www.karaokeplayground.co.uk/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum;f=9 -- this is the best message board about converting and burning CD+Gs.
If I find anything more I will post it here. _________________ Piotr

The only visible files on the CD are cda auto files. Yet works fine on my
CD+G Emerson Player if I use commercial cdg to burn. I use CDRWIN
to build a cue from bins created with Power from cdg and mp3 or wave for Nero (Wizard) Enterprise Edition. Your bins on HD work
fine with your player.

----My understanding is that cdrwin only works with CD+G compatible burners. Nero works with any burner.-----

From what I understand is that you create a compilation of commercial CD+Gs first saving BIN files to the HD and then burning them with Nero. Or maybe Nero does not allow saving BIN files and this is done in some other way?
My question if the files play correctly were about these files that you create from a commercial CD+G using Nero.
And yes, CDRWin works with CD+G-compatible burners only. _________________ Piotr

I rip from commercial CD+g disks using Free Audiograbber Proggie latest version either as MP3 +CDG or Wave+ CDG or Binary. They work fine
using the same procedures ie cdrwin to Nero.
The only failure thread common is powerkaraoke cdg file created with
midi(kar) import. Could the cdg file somehow be a function of audio volume or quality? I think I see some noise on cdg lyrics when ripped
back from Nero burn CD using Audiograbber rip. Still plays on your player
but sometimes notice little glitches on lyric display. I tried buring with 8X
on a 24x burner-no help.
