| I have approximately 15,000 AVI/WMV/MPG karaoke songs. When I import the song database. PKP fails to pickup anything except the 8000 .BIN files on my HDD. I noticed in the file association window(under general settings), PKP does not associate these formats. They will play if I load them one at a time from add singer/song menu, but that seems a bit impractical for such a large number of files. Any help guys and girls?? |

I assume you are using Siglos Karaoke Professional. You may select the required extensions in the 'File types to include' field in the Import songs dialog box. _________________ Adam

Yes, I do that, but Import Songs will not import WMV/MPEG/AVI/... into the song database. |

Did you adjust the 'Name parsing rule' to the format of the filenames you are importing? _________________ Adam

Thank you for your patience with me. I found the problem with the "Tag", in the detail of the .wmv, apparently not all problems write this "tag" detail to a file it creates. This still leaves me with 15,000 files to edit, but I'm retired and look for "Missions" diverse from my wife's chain of command.
Apologies for distracting you from other issues. |
