When using the fill in play list it is either on and playing down the list or through rotation but it plays every time a singer is finished. I use this just to play some music when ever there are just a few singers I don't want to call them up ever other song so I like to play some mucis in between. I would love to see a start stop button on the fill in list its self so that while running the karaoke show that a I can choose to have a song start or not between singers with out shutting off to volume or clearing the list then reloading it. a simple run don't run off on button would make my life so much easier.
Thank you

Dana, when your fillin playlist songs are playing, you can pause, stop or play it using the main window. This is the window with the play, stop, pause, fastforward etc buttons. When the song on your fillin playlist is playing, just press the pause button (the one with the double lines on it). When you want the song to play just press on the pause button again or the play button (the one with the single arrow pointing to the right)

Very Happy

I have don't this but everytime a singer finishes singing. then a new song starts playing from the fill in music. I have it in random play because I have many songes my the same artist and I don't want them to play one after the other. Also with all the trouble with the program freezing up and needing to shut down and restart the program when it comes back on then the fill in list starts from scratch again playing the same song that has already played. It would be nice if I could just turn it off and have it freeze right there then turn it back on. Or if they could get the program playing right so it doesn't freeze up all the time. Using over 100% of the memory and locking up not allowing me to do anything with out shutting it down. and causing the monitor screen to freeze and then skip the works on the song that is playing. This causes lots of singers to get confussed because they have to follow along with the words to half way stay in tune.

I guess it is just like trying to find a bandaid for for a cut that needs stiches. If I didn't have all the other troubles this one wouldn't be so bad.
With One problem adding to another and another the more that is fixed the easier it becomes for us KJ's.
Thanks Dana

Dana, when your computer locks up is the 'Go to Next' starts the song box checked and if you do, do you click on the Go To Next button after every singer or use it a lot? I think this is part of the problem. I tend to use that feature a lot too and that's when it seems like the program freezes. If you also use this feature, try unchecking the 'Go To Next' starts the song box. See if that helps. I think I'm narrowing the problem down to that feature. I'm still testing it out.

Thanks for your feed back but I do not use the go to next starts the song at all. I find that I have most of the trouble when using fill in music. It seems to use a lot of memory. I have ran the the windows task manager and when it locks up the karaoke program us using 100% of the memory. I can turn off the fill in music and I don't have nearly as much trouble. I have even quit using but there are times I need to use it and I always have much more trouble when running. I have even order a new computer and waitting on it to come in to see if that will help.
Something has to take care of this. It is really getting to be a big pain three nigths a week.

Well I hope your new computer does the trick Very Happy I personally don't run into the problem you have with the memory usage. What OS do you use now and how much RAM do you have? I use WinXP Pro with 2GB memory and my laptop runs just fine most of the time. I love WinXP and I won't be changing my OS anytime soon.

hornet I am using win xp and 2 gig memory but the processor is a older one. I really didn't want to change either but I got so tired of fighthing all the problems that I was having. I now have the new computer and getting it loaded i7 4 core processor with 8 gig of memory. If this doesn't do the job I guess I will have to look for a new program no matter how much I like this one.

Would still like to see some way to turn the play list off and/or on so that the list was there with out playing everytime a singer finishs singing. Some time with a full rotation it would be nice just to turn it off but later in the night as things slow down to be able to just turn it back on.

I think this would be a really nice feature. Piotr, can a on/off button be added to the fill-in playlist?

You may close fill-in playlist window to deactivate it. If you want it to be active again justo open it.

closeing it shuts it off? then when you reopen you have to load list or it starts playing the list over again if the paues button would just paues the fill in list right where it is at and not start again until the play button was hit would be just what we need. Give it some throught.

If you reopen it the list will be there. If you open it while karaoke is playing it will start automatically when it should. If you open it in between songs you need to doubleclick song to start the playback.

totally understand this but what we need is a way to stop the play back totally and to just start it again when we need to have fill in music. I know I can pause it or stop it and it will restart between songs there are times when we don't want to use fill in music because of the numer of singers. so it is shut down or cleared. Then as there are less singers we want to go back to using fill in music. so we reload or restart and the fill in list starts playing the same songs that were played earlier. It would be nice if when we stoped the fill in it would just stop until restarted and no replay all the songs over again. I have tried it all and just turning the volume down and letting the fill in music keep playing is what works best now but that causes lock ups sometimes. it also plays a number of the songs in the fill in music that no one heres. a simple stop and play button that would stop the playing of fill in music and stay there until the play button was clicked. or a pause button that did the same thing.
