|
|
Don't know about the rest of you, but my Karaoke Pro still freezes up every so often. It froze twice yesterday The only way I know to clear the freeze up on the fly is to clear out the fill-in playlist. When it froze yesterday and I cleared the fill-in playlist, it fixed the problem instantly .... "Both Times!". Piotr, is the support team getting any closer to fixing this problem? Now I know it really is the fill-in playlist that's freezing the program. Maybe it doesn't like a certain mp3 format!?! I can send you the log that was running when the program froze and it should also show what happened when I cleared the fill-in playlist. Let me know if you want it. |

| I must agree with hornet as I quit using the fill in music and the trouble went away. when I use it the trouble comes back. this was with the old computer. The New computer with i7 core processer and 8 gig of memory still frezzes but not very often. The fill in part of the program is a prcessor menory hog that frezzes the who program. I beleive it has been memtioned before that maybe that part of the program should be totally re-writen. |

| I am sorry, we are working on this. The main problem is that we cannot duplicate this on any of our test machines, so we took a radical approach to change most of the code in fill-in playlist, which unfortunately takes time. |

| pirto, add about 50 songs to the fill in and then add 20 or 30 singers all in line to sing, start a show and have most of the singers bring up a new song when they come up to sing and then add that new song as they are singing. Bingo I bet you will see what we are talking about. Please don't get me wrong I love the program except for these little things that just can't seem to get fixed. We know you are working on them but I am not sure if you really know how many people are having this issue and either don't say anything and just work through it. We seem to find a way to make the show go on but it is a pain in the neck. |

| I really hope it helps. This is when it locks up on me the most. 5, 6 or more times a night normally. my Friend DJ has the same thing happen when he has more songs and singers. Really do hope it helps I love this program and have gotten a few to switch to it but they complain about the freezzing also. |

| Greg, did you try clearing out the fill-in playlist when Karaoke Pro freezes? Until the next major update for Karaoke Pro comes out, this is the best work around I know. For me, clearing the fill-in playlist clears up the freezing problem right away. |

| Dana, yes you can reload the fill-in playlist without any problems. You can load it while the karaoke song is playing, unlike before when you reloaded the fill-in playlist and the karaoke song would stop. |

| try clearing the fill in music and don't use it. Use another media to play you music and it really cuts down on the problem. or lie hornet says just clear the list from the fill in list and then load the songs back in. I know it is a pain but they are working on this issue and may have something soon. |

Not sure about the rest of you, but version 1.2.91 did not freeze up on me today! I'll try it again later on this week, but looks like you fixed the problem Piotr!. I need to do more testing to make sure. I was really happy today when KP didn't freeze up! Hope everyone got the same result. I am looking forward to get this behind us. Thanks for the hard work Piotr!!! |
