I run a professional show and have recently purchased this program as well as a new Dell laptop. I used it for the first time last Saturday. I was not using the fill in play list as suggested in the forum. While songs are playing, the music and graphics black out yet pick up where they should if singer continues to sing. It did this at least 6 times during the night. I even tried to replay the same song to see if it was the song, but it didn't duplicate it at the same spot or even the same song. The computer I have was built to your specs for this program. I am somewhat technologically challenged (lol) but can not figure out why this is happening. Please advise. I have all my music on an external hard drive. Seagate 1tb. Can anyone help? This is not very professional.

Do the songs black out in the middle, or it is just that some songs do play, and some do not?

Remember to turn off any antivirus software
running in the background.
Disabling all networks might also help.

very true. Mccafee uses alot of the processor memory. I shut off all anti virues when running a show and haven't had that happen in a very long time.

Please try to enable 'Use compatible MP3 decoding' option in File -> Setting -> General.

I had a show Saturday night and the program stalled 7 time in 4 hours. I had McAfee turned off and fill in turned off. The last song of the night the program totally froze and I had to restart the program. I am not happy with this program. Something has to be done. This is NOT professional when it stalls.

i have a dell as well, with Vista (yuck) and only 2 gig ram, and found that if the wireless is on, not even connected, that can happen. when i had to do a reformat (!@#$ windows) i did not install the wireless manager and not a problem of that since. your system should easily handle Siglos.
also, a log may help discover the actual issue.
ctrl + shift + L will enable the logging, as soon as you recover form a problem, do it again to disable the logging.
it should show up in my documents as sigloslog.txt
e-mail it to Adam & Piotr and they WILL look into it. they have the best service anywhere!
