Hello....

Right, gonna get a little bit technical here. The story goes....

Finished producing some lyrics in Power Karaoke Plus for CDG and then wanted to open the project in Power Video Karaoke to create the video lyrics as my company requires both formats. The project opened ok in PVK but when i go into Video Settings to select one of my presets i get an error message saying... 'Please Enter An Integer Between 30 and 1024'. I realise this is something to do with the width and height settings. But i worked on a track about 2 hours ago in PVK and this error message didnt appear. Now even when i try to select my preset all the settings do not change and this error message appears again. Also the Video Settings dialogue box does not appear to look good (eg, buttons and selections not in the correct places etc). Ok, so i thought an easy solution would be for me to uninstall the program and reinstall it (yes i am using the latest version 1.2.2... but that didnt help. So i thought maybe theres a problem in the registry with my presets. I did export these settings awhile back and stored them on disc incase i needed to put them on a different PC. But when running regedit and looking HK_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE there does not appear to be anything in there for Doblon or Power. I have 6 products from you guys including the latest one, Karaoke CDG Creator Pro so there should be something in the registry. So i dont really know where to go from here.

Have you used 'Save as PKD file...' command from File menu? It saves Power Video Karaoke compatible file. PK2 files are not compatible with Power VIdeo Karaoke.

Well the original project was created in Power Karaoke Plus (not Karaoke CDG Creator Pro) so the project file is a PKD file. The file opens fine in PVK but the problem occurs when selecting a preset to change the colours and settings.

OK, I get it now.

Power Video Karaoke presets are stored in:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Power Video Karaoke\Presets

If you delete the entire key presets will be removed.

Ok, right, i've sorted it now. Basically when i saved the project file in Power Karaoke Plus the program didnt save the file correctly (i have no idea why) but when i open up a different project in PVK everything works fine. So i conceeded and decided to make the whole song again from the start in PVK. This worked fine. Didn't take me too long anyway as it is an easy Beatles song.
