Dear Admin,
I've used PVK 1.2.11-1.2.23 and found following problem during creating of video file:
1.If background video is MPEG2 format,then PVK crashes at max.2% of the process(outout MPEG2 or AVI);
2.If background video is Avi(Umcompressed or Divx),it's will randomly crash or freeze when resolution is set to say 640*360 or above;the higher the resolution,the earlier PVK will crash;
3.If backgrund video is MPEG1,then it's OK with resolution 320*240 or 352*288(I didn't try other resolution)
I thought it was problem of DIVX codec before,but I tried VirtualDUB to encode the same AVI to DIVX,it's perfect and very fast and the quanlity is very acceptable(720*576 25fps). |

What operating system are you using? Do you have latest DirectX installed?
There had been some problems with background video in the past, but the latest version was running smoothly. We will be releasing a new build at the end of February -- please check if it works any better. _________________ Piotr
