I'm pretty new to Siglos. Anyway, I'm importing from a Seagate 500gig external HD, about 400 actual gig on HD, and the import is taking for ever. According to the read out, it's going to take about 9 hours to update the data base. This can't possibly be correct can it? I've scanned the entire Data Base with Windows Search, and my song book software, and it takes about 10-20 minutes.

Am I doing somethig wrong or does this sound normal. What is is importing other than the path to the song?

You are probably importing ZIP files -- MP3 tag scanning is enabled, Siglos has to unpack every file and read the tags. It is recommended to switch off MP3 tag scanning when importing large amount of ZIP files.
