we have a perfectly good working copy of siglos and while adding new files the mp3 part of siglos stopped working altogether. the files are fine and they are there as windows media and pcdj still see and play them.
we tried the k-lite pack....no dice anything else?
p.s. time is of the most importance as we have a show tomorrow night |

If this is an emergency, you can convert all your audio files into linear WAV, I mean uncompress all the audio files. Siglos will be able to read them. After your show, I will insist with Doblon to find a solution to our problem because I have a similar problem and could not get a reply for ages. |

we don't have enough time to convert 18000+ songs to WAV....
is there a problem with the newest versions of siglos on XP home? |

really?
over 15 hours and noone can answer here or an email even after i put in both that this is an emergency.....
this makes me question whether or not my business would like to continue using this product. we have no US customer service to actually call and get instruction when there is a problem.
what exactly am i supposed to do now? there is no audio on my karaoke system.....and every other program on my computer plays these file just fine. |

a new revelation.....it is not reading the codec....
just to keep everyone up to date.
as long as pcdj is open the codec will open , once pcdj is closed the codec can't be read by siglos! |

really guys? 2 working days and not one response? what's the problem....
now i have had to cancel one show and apparently i will have to cancel tonight as well. 2 days since my email and forum post and no response. we have now come to an immediate response or refund. those are the choices left. i cannot afford to continue canceling shows (my only form of income) because the program manufacturer does not feel it necessary to respond to emails or forum posts for product support. if you will refuse to support your product, you will immediately refund my money so i can go purchase another program from a company who will support it.
siglos is a great program when it works. but if i can get no support i'm going to buy american where at least i know if there's a problem i can get an answer. |

i've been down 2 shows now......
done 2 clean installs as siglos DOES NOT uninstall fully from a computer. every latest update from windows even the optional ones. the codecs from k-lite. done and check.
now what? |

Please do the following:
1. Run the program
2. Click in the program main window
3. Press Ctrl+Shift+L
4. Message "Log enabled" should appear
5. Load a file (CDG preferably) and play it
6. Exit the program
7. Go to My Documents (or Documents on Vista) -- you will find "sigloslog.txt" file there. Please email it to support@powerkaraoke.com. _________________ Adam

just a suggestion, check the priority of the codec. May or may not be helpful
Go to control panel, sounds and audio --> Hardware Tab --> Select Audio Codecs --> click properties --> Select the properties Tab.
If more than one mp3 codec is installed, right click the one you want to use and change it's priority. |

| so i sent the log, tried it in xp pro as well. same problem. i have seen adam and admin responding on these posts over this weekend and have no response here or on email. not even a response saying they got the log and are checking. whats going on? |

| it has been 2 weeks and nothing. i still have no working program, all adam knows is to tell me to install k-lite (same as in every problem on almost every post) and to send a log that never gets resolved (we did this before adam). now.....i will have my money refunded, and a call from somebody about fixing this. i am out of patience. |
