help. my discs will play on my karoke player on the computer, but when i go out they will not play on the karoke machine, or 1 song will load and the others won't. They were all burned in one session. I've tried different brands of CD-R's and different burn speeds - same results. I'm at my wits end. |

I understand you are using Power CD+G Burner.
What karaoke player is that you are trying to use? _________________ Piotr

| I've used Siglos and they work fine on it. My problem is when I take the disc to the karoake bar. All songs on the disc won't play. 1 or 2 will load and play and the rest won't. I burned all the songs on the disc at one time at the same speed, etc. I tried using different types of media and this had the same end result. I even tried the suggested TDK CD-R. Burned 10 songs to a disc, didn't try to check them after burning on the computer took them to the bar - first song wouldn't load, but the other nine did. What gives? |

| As a workaround, try changing the burn speed. Errors are more likely to occur when speed is set to max. 1x is the safest, but I regularly use 4x or 8x without trouble. MAX often results in small glitches for me. |

It is the player (JVC/RSQ)?
If the disk you have burned works fine with Siglos on your computer, then the graphics are burned properly.
Which manufacturer created the tracks?
and,
What is the make and model number of your burner?

The question I asked was pointed. I burn using Vista without problems.
Some JVC players have trouble reading homemade disks. This applies to both the JVC and RSQ (they are JVC too) type players.
You will have to try another player.

| I also have a problem with my burned discs not playing in an RSQ. What I did notice though, is that the discs burned with my Plextor do work, but the one's I burned with my new (Plextor burned out) HP do not. So I think the drive has a lot to do with it in my case. Hopes this helps others that groan, like me, when they see an RSQ. LOL. |

This is close to the problem I am having. I just have a Numark CDN25+G. I copied a disk from a friend to test it out. I did a straight copy and I did a rip and burn. Note the disk I copied was already a copy don't know if that makes any difference. Any way when I put it in my Numark or in his he has the same model Numark it just sits on load. But I can take it and put it in has CAVs player and it works fine. But his disk I copied from works in the Numark.
Please Help. |
