Good evening!
I was getting Siglos Karaoke Pro 1.2.54 ready for a party this weekend and noticed that when I try to start a song I am getting the follwoing error message window:
Header: "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:Program Files\Doblon\SiglosPro\SiglosPro.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."
Has anyone else experienced this and if so are there any known fixes? I have been using this product for about a year and first serious problem that I have had with it.
Thanks for your time. |

I have the same error message (Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error etc.) and have twisted myself into a pretzel mentally and emotionally to get it figured out.
The HOURS I have spent burning my discs into BIN format on my hard-drive seems utterly wasted since every time I load singers and songs and click Start it blows up again. I lose the list and have to re-enter the singers and songs.
I have updated everything, re-loaded the program and applied the registry thing posted here.
Is it possible this is a RAM issue? I run Vista and I have 3GB but I would bet this program takes quite a lot of memory to operate.
The reason i suggest this is because if I go directly to my hard drive and double click any song, it will play in the program just fine. Playing is not the problem, it's "go to next" or even when the program has to find the next song on it's own. |

those are a pain, give this a shot, it weeded out an issue i had before.
Clean Boot
=============================
1. Click Start, type "MSCONFIG" (without the quotations) in the Search Bar and Press "Enter" to start the System Configuration Utility.
2. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click "Disable All" (if it is not gray).
3. Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" and click "OK".
4. Restart the computer and test the issue.
Note: Clean Boot is a troubleshooting step. If some programs have been disabled, we can re-enable them later. If you see the System Configuration Utility, check the box of "Don't show this message" and then click "OK".
Please monitor the system in the Clean Boot environment. If the problem does not occur, it indicates that the problem is related to one application or service we have disabled. You may use the MSCONFIG tool again to re-enable the disabled item one by one to find out the culprit. |
