is there another fix?
you seem to have something going with this k-lite thing......it IS NOT the problem. is the log still being looked at? is a solution in the works like you said earlier? |

now i have had to cancel one show and apparently i will have to cancel tonight as well. 2 days since my email and forum post and no response. we have now come to an immediate response or refund. those are the choices left. i cannot afford to continue canceling shows (my only form of income) because the program manufacturer does not feel it necessary to respond to emails or forum posts for product support. if you will refuse to support your product, you will immediately refund my money so i can go purchase another program from a company who will support it.
siglos is a great program when it works. but if i can get no support i'm going to buy american where at least i know if there's a problem i can get an answer. |

Go to control panel, sounds and audio --> Hardware Tab --> Select Audio Codecs --> click properties --> Select the properties Tab.
If more than one mp3 codec is installed, right click the one you want to use and change it's priority. |
I did not find a codec that says "MP3" in my list of codecs. Can you be more specific? |

Your MP3 codec will probably have "MPEG Layer 3" in it's name.
like Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec.
Do a screen shot of your audio codecs, post them somewhere and give us the link.
To take a screen shot, Press Ctrl and the PrtScn button at the same time on your keyboard. Open up your favourite image editor. MS Paint will do.
Press Ctrl and v at the same time to paste.
crop your picture to only include the area you want. Save it as a jpg.
Post it to a website, or email it to me. I'll give you my email address if you haven't got a website to upload the image to. |

Yes, there is a new check box under Files->Preferences->Use alternate MP3 mode. Thanks for your help. |

I was having some trouble reading files & some discs I updated to the latest version ...........Lo & behold every thing is fine.
Now to the suggestion K-lite will solve this problem .......rubbish I dont have the k-lite pack installed and don't need it either.
What is required is reliable answers that actually work.

After reading this entire post I do agree that sometimes the replys are slow and when in a need now time frame there is little that we can do. Most of the time this is not the case but it does happen. With the differance in time I understand that it would be very hard to have someone there 24hrs a day to take care of these issues. But it would be nice if there was a Phone Number for customer support, so if this was a real issue I could stay up late here in the USA and get a hold of someone to maybe help resolve an issue.
I have had good luck with my issues but I now keep a copy of my Karaoke Pro Exe file so if down load updates and have issues I can go back a down load the last known working verson. This give you guys time to work out any issues. I would suggest that everyone do this. If you have a good working verson save it, Don't just replace it when upgrading
