I use all the Power Karaoke software for my playing and burning. Always worked well. This may be a burner problem: I originally used a Plextor 712 and the burned discs played on any machine. When the that one burned up, I used an HP Burner, and my ripped discs and CDG's produced in Karaoke Creator Pro Played fine on every player except RSQ and JVC. I then purchased a Plextor External (S88TU) for my laptop (the internal crashed). It will not play the HP discs and the HP will not play the Plextor discs and a Vocopro player at the show I attend won't play either.
Only my '712' discs play at the show. (on the RSQ/JVC & Vocopro) Can converting CDG to CDG+mp3 and back again cause this? Or from converting downloaded CDG+mp3 to CDG? They play clean on their respected burners and hard drive.
Thanks,
Tom |

I would blame CD/DVD drive for the problems you are exeriencing. You may also try to change the brand of CD-R discs you are using. Sometimes changing the burning mode may help too. Try to switch to CDRDao mode, and enable MMC_RAW driver in Power CD+G Burner. _________________ Adam

Thanks Adam.
I'll be burning this weekend. I reset the burning modes and am buying different discs today.
I did get the Plextor discs to play on the HP, but the HP stutters. (upgraded firmware) It may be on the way out as it now stutters with regular audio CD's.
