Hello. I just downloaded the PowerKaraoke CD+G Creator demo and tried to create a bin file from a song I downloaded (MP3/cdg). When PK evaluates the files, it says: "The soundtrack is not CD-format compatible (ie. 16-bit 44kHz stereo). Replace the soundtrack or use sound editor software to convert it to CD format." First of all, it was downloaded from a Karaoke site and should work as is...correct? Second, I ran it through my sound editor and it shows that the format is: 44.1 kHz, 16 bits, stereo, 180.15 bpm. Is this not correct? I wanted to test PK before purchase and I just can't seem to get it to work. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Please try enabling 'Use alternate MP3 mode' in Preferences (File menu) and see if it works any better.

You may also try to install the K-Lite Basic Pack. It installs the newer version of MP3 decoder:

Same exact problem here. I want to purchase, but if I can't even get it to export to CDG... then there's no chance. I spent a long time getting the sync right, too. Is there any update on this? I even installed the K-Lite mp3 codec like you suggested, but still nothing.

Are you having problems with a particular MP3 file or with any MP3 file you have tried to use as soundtrack?
