as i'm upgrading to quad my new board suppoert sata can someone tell which . sata dvd drive reads and writes cd+g files

In general we recommend Pioneer and Plextor drives for CD+G format support.

Any model should do. We do not have reports about problems with burning CD+G format when Pioneer or Plextor drive is used. However, the best solution to find the right drive is to test the drive with the Power CD+G Burner.
