just updated siglos karaoke pro from version .60 to version .65 and have a strange problem. i was using video renderer 7, it worked best for my system. now it works fine with solid or gradient background, but i use last weeks singer pics for the background and it is just black on the tv screens when the song starts. the singer anouncement screen shows fine, but when the actual song starts there is no background,no lyrics, nothing at all. but it looks fine on the preview screen. if i use the default renderer, renderer9 or overlay, it freezes for a second when the picture changes plus the scrolling marquee is very jerky. it was fine untill this upgrade.

I am sorry for this -- what is surprising is that none of the code regarding display rendering was modified. What are you computer specifications?

amd 64x dual core, 2 gb ram, vista home premium. everything was fine on every other update as far as video until this one. i did a system restore and rolled back to version .61 and everything is fine, but when i update to version .65 its gone again. perhaps one of the updated codes does not play well in the sandbox with this particular video code.

ok, update.....tried reinstalling thinking that maybe i did something wrong with the last install. played a song, no problems. then during the first actual singer, i was loading another singer and as soon as it added that person to the rotation, tv goes black. the preview screen is fine, music plays perfectly. same problem when adding a song to an already listed singer, black screen as soon as its added. anytime the rotation list gets updated, like moving a singer up or down, it goes black until the end of the song. it only does this when using the video renderer7 or standard renderer and slideshow. if i change it to solid background, gradient background or if i change to video renderer9 it's all good, but that one is not as smooth as 7. plus, when using renderer9, adding singers or songs makes the tv flicker black for a split second, not a long time, but enough to have customers com up and ask me if something is wrong. version .61 did not do that either. everything else seems great, and much more stable. great job guys, just this one hickup. maybe a code in the add singer/ song part is not playing well with the video code. but.....help.....please.
oh yeah, tried to get you a log, but Ctrl+Shift+L does not work anymore either.
