Please test the zip files you have using the demo of Siglos Karaoke Player/Recorder. If successful, please try to burn zip files directly using Power CD+G Burner, and let us know the result.

The audio file is sampled with 22 kHz frequency, which it makes it incompatible with CD audio standard. It should be sampled using 44.1 kHz. You need to resample the audio file to the correct frequency. It can be done using, for example, Audacity. (It is a free audio editor.)

Are all your files 22 kHz?

First, you need to unzip the file. In Audacity, load the MP3 file into the program, and then change the main sample frequency setting for the project (it will be equal 22050 after loading the file) in the bottom left corner of the Audacity window (not the setting in the track window). Next export the file using File -> Export as MP3. The file will be resampled and exported with 44.1 kHz. Finally replace the original soundtrack file with the processing result in the ZIP archive.

It seems to me you were successful in resampling the audio file. Could you please specify which instructions exactly you did not understand. Please note you do not have to create the zip archive to burn the karaoke. You may use CDG+MP3 pairs in Power CD+G Burner.

After changing the project sample frequency use File-> Export as MP3.

You need to replace the original file with the resampled one. When using Export as MP3 command, the result should be MP3 file. Is it not the case?

hi adam i have managed to complete a full disc now. the problem was when i dragged and dropped say 20 mp3s into audacity and resampled all ok but when i exported multiple they didnt replace the old mp3s but put another file with them so i had 1 cdg and 2 mp3 . the only way i can get round this is to resample 1 mp3 at a time then import it. it then asks to replace the original file. it takes a little longer but it works . do you know if i can replace the original file when using export multiple thank you for all your help craig
