|

Hi - I've had the same problem with .mpg files that have been ripped from video CD's. What appears to happen is that the second monitor briefly displays the title of the track before going black. In fact, simply adding a .mpg file to the playlist will cause the second monitor to go black, even if another track is playing!! Ouch!
Changing renderers and downloading new codecs made no difference. I also tried converting the video file to other formats: the problem persists.
It would appear that the problem is somehow connected with the "toggle full screen mode" button. So, my first workaround is that doubleclicking that button (once the track is playing) will cause the video to display OK on monitor 2.
Workaround #2 is that if you navigate to the folder where the .mpg file is located you can run the video from the directory, either by using "open with" from the right-click menu OR you can doubleclick the file providing you've already set Siglos to be the default program for that file type. Click back on the Siglos button on the task bar and answer NO to the message asking if you wish to start a new session.
Hope this helps in the meantime. |
