Hiya,
Have downloaded and unlocked Power CD+G Burner. Ripped a few discs to my hard-drive. Some as .bin and some as CD+G & MP3.
Downloaded and unlocked Siglos Player/Recorder.
Problem is the files (bin & CD+G) don't have any sound or lyrics displayed.
Even the mp3s I open in windows media player don't have sound.
Is this a problem with the burner you think?
How can I fix this problem? |

Please try to playback CD+G discs directly from the drive using Siglos, and let us know the result. It may be the CD/DVD drive you were using to rip the CD+G discs does not read CD+G data properly. _________________ Adam

As well,
Are you able to rip to mp3 (audio only) using this drive with any other progam?

I have a Windows XP prof and its a Toshiba brand computer. I beleive it has a Matshita/mitsubishi DVD RW drive. I am having the same problem, is there a way to love this problem?
U aksi tried to play directly from the drive with a CD+G disk and it does not even play. I see powerkaraoke logo moving around the screen on the siglos player. Ripped files dont have video and lyrics. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance |

I'm sorry, but Matshita drives do not support CD+G format. In such case the only solution is to replace the drive with the one that does, for example Pioneer or Plextor. _________________ Adam

*Nods...
Matshita / Mitsubishi drives for the most part support only RAW16 as a read and write format, whereas CD+G requires RAW96 support.
Most drives today will work. Hmmmm... just not yours. As above, Plextors work great!
You are probably doing everything correctly. Happy shopping!
