Hi Team, having had a slight problem with my searching for fill in tracks, my program wont function with or without a third party search engine. I have read the threads about people moving thier setup to another location and it stopped working, well I moved mine to the other side of the room for a Hogmanay party and while yes i can play fill in, cant get my fellow Karaoke party animals up singing thier favorites.
I done the registry bit downloaded as recomended here, and re imported my 12000 tracks (2 Hrs) but not playing.
It may have someting to do with hooking upto external screens (I have tried both TV and pc monitors) as it can work (occasionally) as a standalone.
What am I doing wrong, I have tried doing the registry thing before a reboot, after and tried a number of combinations. While it will worked on defaults without the second screen, am i expected to do this every time I setup???
Please advise or I may have to cancel this program and ask for some kind of compensation, $135 of a BAD DJ program when I wanted THE BEST KJ program.
I await your response

Are you using the latest version of Siglos Karaoke Professional? Please send a detailed description of the problems you are having to support@powerkaraoke.com. Where is the $135 price from? Please note, Siglos Pro costs $99 only. _________________ Adam

When i set up my Siglos Pro initially, it worked fine. My only problem or disapointment being the search facility for fill in tracks. (I had overcome this problem personally with a search engine from NGSearch for now until Siglos come up with a solution, as I was told it is on the wish list already)
This setup worked well as a standalone viewing the text etc on my PC monitor. When I switched off the PC and setup elsewhere, connecting to my projector(at first) as the secondary screen for singers etc, They could view the singer and song to be sung as normal but when trying to start the song it went blank and the countdown froze. I also lost all functions then was told it had to shut down as not responding.
I searched you Forum and I read to install a default registry thing which reset all, fine. I tried the program again, it worked without the secondary screen, on reboot with either second pc monitor, TV or projector attached, it played fill in with no problems (without my third party search engine may I add) but froze on karaoke again.
I really hope it is a simple setting adjustment that needs tweaking as all the reviews (and when its working) personal experience, this seemed to be the product Ive been looking for. |

Do you have your karaoke songs on the external hard drive? If so, you need to make sure the drive letter does not change after reconnecting the drive. You may also use Validate songs button to fix the problem, when it does. _________________ Adam

| Cant do anything after trying to play karaoke, which was the reason for the program. It freezes up and is useless. I will try format with fresh install, which seems extreme, but want to try everything before giving up totally, for the sake of my expense. I am currently looking into Compuhost for twice the price. Please help!!!! |
