when loading songs into the data base of siglos pro it takes forever I have over 100000 files and it takes all day to get the files loaded. If something ever happened and I had to reload I would have to write off the night, Lucky I have a back up computer and hard drive at home that I could go get but it would still cost me an hour of the show and very unhappy customers. There Must be a Way to load the files faster. This is the biggest thing I have aginst Siglos Pro. I have showed the program to other DJ KJ's and they like it but do like the loading speed. I add new songs every month and don't want having a lot of doubles so I have to delete the song data and then spend all day waiting on a reload. Is there any way to fix this

If you save the siglos.db file that is located in my documents\my karaoke, you can go back to all your previous settings and files saved. Every so often, you should save this file and place it on your desktop or thumb drive. This way if the program should ever go belly up, all you need to do is replace the siglos.db file back into the my karaoke folder and all your karaoke songs will still be intact

If you disable ID3 tags, the process will go faster. When reading the title/artists info from ID3 tags is enabled, each imported zip file has to be unzipped, which slows down the process significantly.

I do disable the ID tag and it still takes all day. On Excurtion Karaoke Realm I can create a list of over 200000 files in just under 10 min. that is loading and verifing. Would be just so much better if the files would load faster. I will try the saving the files as the other post suggested but does nothing to help we when I add my new monthly songs and have to reload the song data base again. Please don't get me wrong I love the program but there are some things that could make it better for all of us users.
