I have the latest version also and I am still having troubles with the program freezing and not being able to do anything to the program. The song will keep playing but the words on the monitor for the singer are playing catch up all the time. not to bad if the singer knows the song well but if it is someone that is useing the monitor for the lead it really messes them up. Sometimes after the song is over with then everything will take off ok other times I have to reboot the program only. not the computer. I have noticed also that if I am running the fill in list that it happens more often than if I am not running it. I have also noticed that if the singer comes up and wants to change songs that if I remove the current song and add a new one for them that this causes it to happen once in a while. Not all the time. It just seems that sometimes the program us just using to much memory while trying to run. I have removed McAfee that was part of the troubles but still haveing the troubles just not as much now.
Also happens quite a bit if the fill in song is playing and you try to add singers sometimes it just freezes and you can change nothing and the fill in song will keep playing over and over until you shut the program down and reboot it. Hope you guys can find and fix this trouble it is about the only complaint I have about the program now.

Please try changing the renderer in Settings/Display and see if that helps.

I have found that a big part of the trouble was that the search was set to start with just two letters and if you were searching a song that started with I or A or some very common letter and a space then the program wanted to find every song with A or I or what every and this would take forever. I have changed it to only start after 4 letters and that has helped a lot. I have over 400,000 songs and that is alot of songs to search and want to show them in the found matching files. not bad when all I had was 50000 files but as I add more that is when all the troubles started. Hope this might help others.

You may define the number of letters that start interactive search in Settings/KJ Cont./Number of characters to start interactive search. Set this to 3 or 4 and speed should increase.

this is what I did I changed it to 5 and now I am having very few problems.
