What does this error mean?
There are a handful of songs mp3+cdg songs that I have purchased from tricerasoft and imported to my database without problem. however, when i try to play them i get the error "the parameter is incorrect" and the song will not play. I'm able to play the files in VLC media player as well as KaraFun player without issue.
Also when trying to import from the folder with these songs, I've had to disable id3 scanning b/c I get the same "The parameter is incorrect" error... so I'm guessing it may be related. I was able to import by manually setting the name parsing but still get the error when attempting to playback.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Which program are you using? Is the program registered in your name? This error is usually encountered when invalid unlock code is used to unlock the program. _________________ Adam

Siglos Karaoke Pro
I'm not sure who it's registered to actually. It was installed on a computer my friend gave me so I've just been messing around with it. Pretty nice program. I know it says it's expired when I try to update though. |

I figured it out. For some reason siglos pops the error message if I add the unzipped pair of mp3/cdg files. However, if I leave the files zipped together, it has no problem scanning, adding, and playing them. I'm not sure what the specific root of the problem is because it only occurs with some of the files purchased from tricerasoft and not with others. I was able to correct the problem by manually rezipping each pair and adding to the database.
I was able to replicate the problem using a demo of the latest release of siglos pro, as well as siglos player/recorder so it is not related to and outdated version. Players from other companies have no problem playing the same unzipped files so it is definitely a player issue. |

| I had the same problem. Working from the solution above, I solved it by rezipping all the files I was trying to add and then unzipping the files again. I suspect it was a problem with file associations. |

| Can you email us a sample ZIP file that is causing this problem? |
