I have an external hard drive with appox 300000 songs on it. I am running Siglos karaoke pro. I have tried just about everything I can think of to help speed up the program. I have stopped all unessisary programs from running I have removed the virus scanning program and everything else that isn't needed to run the computer and your program and my songs. yet I get I have 2 gig of memory and just installed a new hard drive. yet when I run your program many times it locks up and the memory is using 100% and stays that way for sometime. I can't add a singer or do anything until the present singer is done. Then I have to shut down the program and and restart everything. It is worse when running the fill in music but still bad even with out it. I don't know what the trouble is but this program is all that is left and I can't get rid of it and still run my show unless I go to a different program. looking forward to any and all suggestions
Thanks

| Please try increasing the number of characters to start interactive search value in Settings/KJ Cont., setting this to 5 should speed things up. |

| it is not just on the search that this happens it can happen with a singer is singing and I am doing nothing. i will try to click on add song to a singer or add new singer and nothing happens. I can't do a thing until the singer is done singing. Then I close the program and restart it and things are fine, at least for a while. there is no one song that does causes this trouble it is just a random thing. Thank god I have the gift to gab so when it happens I just keep talking after a singer finishes there song until I get the program restarted and running again. so no one really is to upset. but it is a big pain in the hind end. If the program just ran the way is does most of the time and didn't have the few bug that it seems to have and can't be worked out I would be on very happy camper. |

Running a Dell with windows xp Home version 2002 Service pk 3
2 Gig of memory with an intel (R) Pentium (R) M 1.73 Hz
2 Gig of Ram @ 794Mhz
Side note I have found that if I do not run fill in music that with the new version I am not freezeing and having very little trouble. I have not hit 100% of memory that I know of. when not running the fill in music. I can run another program to play the music and have no trouble using it. I beleive that the trouble is that the fill in music is using way to much memory and causeing alot of the troubles that we see here on the forum.
Thanks for all that you guys do. |

| didn't help still using way to much cpu processing memory. Near or at 100% most of the time. and that is what is causing the freeze ups. I have ordered a new computer with 8 gig memory and a i7 processor I hope that does the trick. |

| You may try changing the renderer in Settings/Display. Also lowering FPS in the same dialog box might help. |

Have you tried to run your show directly from your hard drive instead of an external drive?

Have changed the setting and that didn't help and it is kinda hard to get 400,000 songs on the computer. I have a 2 tb external and it is about full.
I have found that if I don't run the fill in music that helps. The Fill in music seems to use a lot of memory. I have ordered a new computer with 8 gig of memory and i5 processor I am hopeing that will help. |
