Hi I have just got hold of this wonderful programme siglos karaoke pro. but Iīm having problems using it, the situation is this, when I click to play the karaoke song the lyrics on the TV screens are normal (ie for the singer) but then my screen (desk top monitor) displays the lyric screen as well but is now oversized and I cannot do anything on my desktop (ie load any singers etc. while the song is playing)
But if I drag the singers screen back to my deck top it then switches to the TV screens which is now oversized and on these oversized lyrics there is nothing clickable to get rid if it. I have my desk top on duel view and I have tried changing the resolution but that hasnīt helped I know there is a singers preview screen which is great I just need to know how to stop this oversizing of the lyrics on my desk top screen, I hope I have explained myself correctly any help would be greatful on this matter.
many thanks Miss JK |

The screen resolution on your computer is too big. Because you are using Dual Screen as opposed to extending your desktop to the monitor, the resolution on the TV is significantly different than your computer monitor. One question, why do you need to have the singer's screen on your monitor when you have a singer's preview screen already built into the program. My suggestion is to use the Extend Windows Desktop Onto Monitor feature and do away with the Dual Screen. Just my two cents |

| Sorry about all the problems you're having. Can you describe the steps that you're doing to extend the desktop onto monitor? Hopefully we can fix the problem. |

Hi Hornet, thanks for helping me, Iīm still not getting on very well, as a point of interest I decided to set the programme up on my home computer to see I had any problems on that one and the result was great it worked perfectly the singers screen stayed on the tv and the workable screen stayed as it should on my computer monitor and this oversized lyric screen was nowhere to be found (yippee) so I am now thinking it has to be a setting somewhere on my other computer that needs sorting out, or everyone has to come to my house to sing lol.
Ok so I had a look at switching off duel screen which incidently has extend my desktop option already ticked but then the other options are no good ie. sinlge view (which then disables the TVīs) clone view, and span. I have tried using screen 1 as the primary sreen which has the set as primary monitor and extend my desktop bozes both ticked and greyed out and screen 2 just has extend desktop box ticked, I have tried swiching them round but that didnīt solve the problem.
I hope I have explained everything correctlyand once again thank you for your help.

| OK let me get this straight. When you go to your display properties, and click on the drop down menu under display and you select display 2, do you have Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor checked? If you should close the display properties window and reopen it and click on display 2, is the check mark still there? Also, after selecting display 2, what is your screen resolution? I use a 1024x768 resolution for my display 2. When you click on the Identify button, does your desktop display a 1 and the second monitor display a 2? I'm trying to see if everything is configured correctly. |

yes everything is as you have said and is what I have done, screen 1 is my desktop and screen 2 are the TVīs both have the Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor boxes checked and yes I have the same screen resolution for display 2 1024x768.
Just as a point if interest could another programme/software be interfering with this? I had someone requesting a song a few months back which was on pioneer laser disc file and that did the same thing as whatīs happening with this software hence I couldnīt use those songs and that was using wincdg which Iīm still using at the moment, Iīm not going to give up just yet. |
