Greetings.

Need help importing .bin files to Karaoke Pro. These files were saved according to the Output file name instructions with CDG burner. When I view the file on my HD, it is saved as one file with the files Album - Track# - Artist - Title as the title.

When I import the files into Karaoke Pro, the entire filepath name is displayed ... in the middle box.

How can I configure how I'm saving or importing these files so the Album - Track# - Artist - Title info doesn't have to be manually typed in? Thanks for any help you can give..

You need to adjust the name parsing rule to the format of the filenames you are importing. Both must much exactly.

Thanks for your quick response Adam.

Spent hours today trying to get this figured out with no luck. For example...

I have this rule set on the CDG burner
{Album} - {TrackNumber} - {Artist} - {Song}

This is what is saved on my HD
CBE117 - 03 - {Artist} - Elvis Presley Are You Lonesome Tonight

... all under 1 filename. None of this info is seperated.

Could I possibly ask for an example?? This seems like it should be easy but...

Any help is greatly appreciated. Anxious to use this cool program..

In such case you should try the following:

{Album} - {TrackNumber} - {Song}

or

{Album} - {TrackNumber} - {Artist} - {Title}

Unfortunatelly not all FreeDB entries are consistent, thus sometimes the filenames has to be edited after the files are saved to the hard drive.
