|
|
Hey there. I recently purchased your Power karaoke burner. When I Rip and then burn karaoke discs, and then play them on my karaoke machine, the first six or so traacks work fine. After about track six however, the words start to get glitchy, and little parts of the text stay on the screen from one lyric to teh next. Any ideas why this might be happening?? I've ripped and burned using Bin, cdg+mpw, and cdg+wav and I get the same problems with all three. I've also used the slowest reading and writing speed and still no help. Any ideas how I can get all the tracks to work as well as the first half??
Any help would be appreciated. |

Does this happen to all CD+G discs you are using? Maybe this CD is scratched?
Also does this happen if you rip one track only (let's say 10th track)? _________________ Piotr

I get something similar (little pieces of text remain on the screen) when I make back-ups of my CD+G disks.
The difference is that I also get a little bit of this on the first track and it "seems" to get worse as the tracks go on but I can not say for sure or how much worse.
The problem that I see starts when the text comes on the screen. Some of the letters have "pieces" missing. When the text is highlighted during the song, the missing "pieces" get highlighted in a different color. These pieces sometimes get over-written on the next sweep, sometimes they stay much longer.
more details on my version of the problem:
- doesn't matter recording speed (I tried 1x, 8x, 16x, 32x)
- I tried 2 different types of CD-R disks (1 decent quality, 1 cheap)
- Power CD+G burner version 1.3.5
- drive used to burn is LG [please do not post unlock codes]ST RW/DVD GCC-4480B
- playing on a Singing Machine
- I do NOT see the problem when playing on my computer using Power CD+G Player Pro.
any suggestions? |

It looks like your karaoke player is having problems with playing CD-R discs -- please see this thread that describes the similar problem:
http://www.karaokeplayground.co.uk/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=9;t=002407
As it plays on your computer with Power CD+G Player Pro, than it means it has been burned successfuly.
You may try to experiment with CD-R media. Use those with silver recording surface if you can get them -- it might help. You may also try to clean the player's lens. And to be sure please try playing that CD+G in a different machine. _________________ Piotr
