Hi all,

I am going to buy at new cd-rw drive just to rip and burn karaoke with Power Karoke. Can anyone recommed a good, reliable drive?

Plextor drives are recommended for CDG karaoke, for example 760 model. Also Pioneer drives work well, for example DVR-109, or newer models.

Thanks very much for the information Adam. Do you have any experience with less expensive cd-rw only drives? I already have a dvd-rw drive, it just doesn't work very well with Power Karaoke products. I am looking to buy a drive specifically to deal with reading and writing the cd+g format.

I personaly use Pioneer DVR-109, and have no problems with it regarding reading or burning CDG. What drive do you have?

Not sure what drive I am using. It came with my Dell PC. I sent a test file to Power Karaoke and determined it was not compatible for burning. It will rip on some cdgs but has problems with others.

I'm trying to find a deal on a plextor drive since everyone seems to recommend them for Karaoke.
