I've just purchased PowerKaraoke Burner and PowerKaraoke Player and both are duly registered and activated as licensed copies. Second, I have rebooted my computer and I still have problems with both applications.
1- I'm trying to rip .cda files from Karaoke CD+G disks to my hard drive. This can't be an unusual activity since every single one of my 100+ legally purchased, name-brand karaoke disks use this format.
2. It appears as though Burner successfully rips the file as a file is created and they're rather large when using the BIN output option.
3. Player sees the file and I can select it and add it to the playlist, but when I hit play, no sound or graphics are reproduced.
4. I tried opening these ripped files with MS Media Player and it displays a graphic that says EVALUATION but produces no sound either.
5. I have a totally standard IBM Thinkpad PC that's about a year old, so this can't be a HW incompatitibility issue.
6. I also tried the different settings options you recomended. Same result.
7. I'm pretty fed up with this SW at this point. Can I just a get a refund? |

It looks like your CD drive does not read CD+G subcodes. Please email us with your details. _________________ Piotr
