Hi,
Software has been working perfect for 2 - 3 months (couldn't be happier),
have been backing up all our cdg files lately (260 or so discs).
Developed some problem today with "ripping". Can get to "select all", then when i select "rip", light in player keeps flashing very fast, but i get the window on screen that says "ripping track 1 of ....", however it just hangs, and i get "unresponsive program" error. Am running version 1.4.12 Here is one of the latest cdgblog.txt
Program started ***

Does this happen to every CD+G disc, or one particular disc is causing the problem? _________________ Piotr

|
|
Thank you for asking about the CD+G's - Found the problem to be "disc specific" to my own "home burned" disc's that we're mostly burned on
dark colored Memorex discs; purple, burgandy, red & orange. Did have
one TDK with silver backing that wouldn't rip, but think my burn speed
may have been too fast when I made it. The original Sound Choice, Chartbuster, & Nashville's that i had previously "ripped", worked perfect again when i retested "ripping" on them.
Thank you again for your help ! |

|

| After further testing, i have determined that i can rip songs from dark colored Memorex cd's. Have to by-pass #1 track, and individually select the rest of the tracks with the check boxes. Have been able to do all 6 or 7 which were giving me problems by using this method. |
