I used the Karaoke CD+G Creator to make a Karaoke Song. The issue I am having is that when I create a CDG file, the music starts to repeat after the credits come up in the Power CDG Player. It plays to the end of the music, then restarts it about 2 minutes back, and begins playing again, and continues to repeat for just over 10 minutes.

I did some investigating, and found that this doesn't seem to happen with BIN files. Further investigating shows that the track length shows up as over 10 minutes, but it's only 5:30. When I just play the song by itself in Windows Media Player it shows as 5:30.

Is there a way to cut that excess track off in the Creator, or force a stop to the track?
Is that excess track something that wouldn't normally play in another program or in a karaoke player?

Are you making this song to burn on a CD+G? If yes then BIN file is the way to go.

Does the song finish properly in Karaoke CD+G Creator when you are making it? Have you tried to play with with other player (Siglos Karaoke Player/Recorder for example)? Also which version of Karaoke CD+G Creator are you using?

Already have the CD, but I need a version of this for the computer system that my friend runs. He needs a CDG+MP3 in zipped files to make it work right.

Just downloaded and tried the Siglos player. It doesn't repeat like the Power CDG Player, but it does continue playing the full 10 minutes (just with no sound). The Karaoke CDG Creator (version 2.1.6) does the same thing.

For some reason, when I'm importing the MP3, it's adding 4:30 minutes of empty noise at the end of the song. Just checked some of my other songs too, and it's adding time to the end of all the MP3s. All copied onto my computer as 44 kHz stereo files, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Can you email is one of the MP3s you are working on? Have you tried converting it to WAV and using WAV file in Karaoke CD+G Creator?

I found out it has something to do with the DVD Audio Ripper. All the MP3s do this when they are ripped onto the drive. None of my other MP3s do this.

However, it doesn't matter anyways. Just tried this at a bar with Roxbox and it worked perfectly. No repeats and everything worked excellent. Thanks for the help though.
