|
|
My Siglos Karaoke Player/Recorder no longer works properly. When
a song from the play list is selected, it appears in the progress window
but timer shows 0:00/0:00, indicating zero length. When play is selected,
the program steps through the playlist selecting each song but nothing
plays. Songs in the list show the correct length.
Has anyone else ever seen this problem?
I'm using Windows 2000 SP 4 and it has worked for several months. |

It happens with MP3+CDG and .bin files from my hard drive and .cda
files from a karoke CD. Those are the only formats I have. All files play normally with Player Pro. |

Some additional info:
I tried add/remove from the Windows Control Panel, then installing the latest version, 1.2.3 and had the same problem. I noticed when I installed it, it did not ask for my unlock code. This seems to indicate that some parts of the original installation were still present. How can I remove it completely and start from scratch using my original unlock code? Will the code still be valid? I bought it in May of this year. |

The unlock code is not removing during uninstall nor upgrade. It is not kept together with installation files.
It looks like there is some sort of codec problem on your machine -- please email us the log of the program operations following the instructions below:
1. Run the program
2. Click in the program main window
3. Press Ctrl+Shift+L
4. Message "Log enabled" should appear
5. Load a file (CDG preferably) and play it
6. Exit the program
7. Go to My Documents (or Documents on Vista) -- you will find "sigloslog.txt" file there. Please email it to me. _________________ Piotr

| I've emailed the requested file as an attachment. Do you have even a wild guess as to when your analysis might be completed? I understand it's a tedious process but I was hoping to use Siglos tonight for a New Years Eve party. Thank you for your time. |

I installed 1.2.6 and it works It must have been a very odd problem since it worked before but then just quit working. Anyhow, I'm happy to have it back. Thanks! |
