After I upgraded to Directx 9, the software did NOT abort, but it outputs the mpeg file with no video, just music and lyrics.

I checked the Media@Show canvas is 800x600 but could not make the same size on Video settings panel; it's always at 720x480.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
st

Are you creating MPEGs or AVIs?

I am not sure what might be the reason -- can you save background video as AVI?

No, MediaShow does NOT saves dvd file as avi.
Please let me know if you have other suggestions.
Thank you very much for helping.

I am afraid I cannot think of any other solution apart from converting MPEG to AVI and then using it in PVK. You may also try creating AVI file in PVK, maybe it will fix the problem.
