I downloaded the latest version of siglos for my laptop today and along with the download was a virus called infostealer.ldpinch. Can you explain to me why you are including a virus in your downloads?

Yes, I downloaded from powerkaraoke's site. I am an avid fan of powerkaraoke. I absolutely LOVE their programs and have had overwhelming success with my shows using powerkaraoke pro. I have trusted this comany, for over 2 years, they have been honest, and really super with their updates and constantly improving the programs. That is why this distressed me so much. To find an information stealing virus attached to them is a major shock!

I assure you it is a false detection. What antivirus software are you using? Please make sure the virus database is up to date. _________________ Adam

I am using Norton Antivirus(Symantec) and I keep it updated, it detected and quarantined this virus. At this time Norton says there is no repair for this virus thus it is remaining in my quarantine section. I know I had false detections of a trojan when extracting powerkaraoke files before but this is the first time the software actually quarantined a file.

It is certainly a false detection -- this has happened in the past. I will contact Symantec and ask them to update their virus database. _________________ Piotr

That's exactly why I stopped using Norton and switched to Mcafee.
They Update their Database frequently.
