|
|
I'm currently using your version 2.1.15 in demo mode. On my netbook it seems to work fine. However, on my gaming computer which is a Pentium Core 2 Duo, 2.33 GHZ, 4GB of RAM, it crashes every time at some point during the synchronization of lyrics. It gets part way through the song and then crashes. I used the same song on the netbook and it never crashed so I don't think it's the song. Unfortunately the netbook is slow and doesn't have a CD drive so I really need it to work on my Dell. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling and also downloading a codec for MP3's described in another post. I'm on the Windows Vista operating system and all Windows updates have been done. Any ideas?
I really like the program but obviously don't want to pay $100 for something that crashes every time I try to use it. Thanks! |

|

| I am also having trouble with Karaoke CD+G Creator V2.1.15 in demo mode. I have loaded several MP3 soundtracks and none of them play (no audio). There is no waveform visible in the vertical window on the left. The position indicator seems to increment, but there is no sound. A couple of times I have gotten an exception window. What am I doing wrong. Running XP Pro. |

I have just installed the K-Lite codec pack metioned in other threads. There is still no audio from my mp3 and the exception window is consistently appearing. Can you give us some addtional direction? |

|
|
Had this problem with power cdg creator pro on vista always crashing during synch and fixed it by running the program in xp compatability mode.
right click on the shortcut icon that you usually launch the program from
choose properties
click on the compatability tab
under compatability mode place a checkmark in the Run this program in
compatability mode for
choose windows xp sp2
click ok
should now work without crashing |

I am also having crashes with the Creator Pro version 2.1.15
I am running Windows XP Pro and my computer is fine. When running the Creator Pro and trying to sync the lines to the song the software crashes.
I get a runtime error / C++ error, and I also get an exception error:
0x40000015
Also, on occasion i get a message (error) stating that the preview window is not working.... (forgot the exact message).
Just got another message stating an error in C:\program fil... and there is (what appears to be) a location error at: 0x781346b4
Program has some nice potential but not worth the $$$ .
Also, would be nice to be able to load bin file into the program. I have some CD+G's but once they are made you cannot enter them back into the Creator pro program. The program only saves it under its own file extension. |

Unfortunately due to the nature of BIN or CDG files, it is not possible to edit existing karaoke files in this format.
Regarding the described problems, such errors (cannot load preview file) are often experienced when the program is not unlocked properly. Please try to re-enter the registration data (open the Help menu having CTRL key pressed), and should the problems persist, contact support@powerkaraoke.com directly.
Pirated copies also display this error very often. _________________ Adam
