Hi friends!

I make karaoke for living and have so far made 12 DVD:s mostly in sweden. I was really excited when i saw the possibilities in Powervideokaraoke made my cdg versions in powerkaraoke first, which really went just fine.

I can import the pkd-file and it opens up just fine in powervideokaraoke. I add a background, which also seems to work okay, BUT, when i try to change the compression on the video (i need to use uncompressed frames 25 fps), the program just ENDS. Just goes down. I can render out the files, but then it use the cinepak codec, which acutally is ugly as hell.

I do the rendering on three different machines and all of them have the same problem. I have also tried to downgrade to version 1.1.16, and then it works. But the text get all messed up by strange boxes.

I have to leave this DVD for pressing in the end of this week, so if any of you users now how to solve this problem - perhaps by changing some registry entries or ini-files, then i will be very greatful!

I get the same bug of "program exit" when trying to validate the compression option in version 1.1.17.

I just reported this bug to Power Karaoke support desk.

Hoping they will issue a corrective version very soon.

I am sorry you are having problems with our software.

We are aware of the problem with Compression settings on some settings -- we will be posting an update that will fix this on 24th of February.

We have changed the internal format of PKD file but tried to make sure that old files are kept intact. Can you please describe with some more details what exactly happens with the font? It would also help if you were able to send the PKD file that is causing the problem.
