I bought ebay disks made by "Dangerous" that have a CDA format. The files are named like Track01.cda etc etc. Supposedly, they are karaoke disks. How can i convert this cda file into an mp3 and cdg files. I like to use the various Powerkaraoke tools to adjust things. but i think i must have it in mp3 and cdg. any idea what to do? glen

If it is CD+G disc, you may use Power CD+G Burner to rip the tracks to MP3+CDG.

The first thing you must know is .CDA files are not audio files, they are just a way that Windows uses to let you access Top Chain an Audio CD index. When I say that they are not audio files, I mean that they do not contain sampled sound at all! This means that you cannot convert them to another format (such like MP3), simply because they do not contain audio samples SS Skid Resistance Plate Chain! This is why if you copy a .CDA file to our hard drive and try to play it with an audio player, nothing happens.

10-21-12 I should have reported back. I used the RIP part of my power karaoke. went real well. Each CDA file converted into 2 files. CDG and MP3. Just what i wanted. Glen
