Can't access remote requests feature

Post by DannyGsKaraoke »

I am trying to use the kiosk feature built into Karaoke Pro but when I try to connect to the server from my tablet, both computer and tablet are connected to the same network but I can't get them to communicate. Firewall seems to be open for Siglos . I am getting weird ip addresses ending in 6803?CCC=0.

Danny, on the Remote Queue do you have "Enable Server" checked? Sorry I had to edit my post. The IP Address is correct.

Paradigm mentioned that if you replace the "local server port" from 6803 to 80 your singers can just enter the IP address that KP provides instead of having to add the 6803 after the IP address.

i have one venue with this problem. it is a setting on the router at the venue. that's about all i can tell you about it. exactly what that setting is goes way above my paygrade.

I always use my own router for my KP/kiosk setup. It is never connected to the internet and if my singers want to use their phone they'll just log in to my router that has a difficult password of 123456789 LOL. Using my own router ensures me that I will avoid any problems that may occur using someone else's router.
